Ummm anyone want to tell me how you build a door like the one at 6:53 in this video?

It's a portcullis. They used switches to make it open and close. This video shows how to do it. :)

That redstone wiring stuff blows my mind... I think I've got minecraft somewhat figured out and then shit like that pops up. WOW

This makes my fortress seem so empty and bare. I've got some look out towers, a garden, a lot of gold and a dance hall... accidentally. I need to get on the ball and make some cool hang out areas, maybe a bar.

I walked around their server and the buildings they have there are awesome. They have a pyramid so large when you look into it (you have to climb it), it looks like a mini-city on the inside with a gigantic statue inside the pyramid.

I started building in the back of my main house. I was inspired to do something epic. We'll see how it turns out! I definitely want to switch the back of my place to the front because the view is 1000x better....ocean view.

Yeah that's the one thing about this game... you build something you think is totally awesome and then someone shows you something and you think "CRAP! Now I have to make something better!" :)
