Vacation successfull. Wii had fun.
So friday on our drive down to Galveston we finally found a Wii. Odd story actually. We stopped to have some lunch at an IHOP. The rest of the group was going to walk across the parking lot and go to Wal-Mart for some supplies. Leah and I decided to go check the GameStop for a Wii, never expecting to find one.
Well, we did. And it is used! That’s right, a refurbished (read, cleaned) Wii! We got it for $30 off the price new, and picked up an extra controller, nunchuck, and some games. Great start to the vacation.
It didn’t end there of course, it was a blast. We spent the weekend sitting on the ocean, not the beach, the ocean. 2-5 foot out on two sides of the house were just crashing waves. We had a lot of fun relaxing, and enjoying the sea air. Terry and Steve caught some Redfish and Shark which turned out to be great eating. I cooked it up Monday night and we feasted before heading home this morning.

Just to clarify, you don’t have any ocean in Texas. You only have the gulf. You’ll have to come back to FL to sit on the ocean. ^_^
Congrats on finding a Wii, though. Funny, our gamestop over here has a used Wii box, but they have no used Wii. It baffles me how they can put out a used box for something they don’t actually have. lol
