Preparing for vacation
Friday morning we’re driving down to Galveston Island. I will not have internet connectivity. This will be the first time that’s happened for an extended period of time (several days,) that I can remember.
I don’t know exactly how I’ll react to this, but I’m looking forward to it. We’ve been working very hard over here for quite a while and it’s about time for some real R&R. We’ll be celebrating Terry’s birthday, and fishing most of each day. Last night we put line on the new poles and bought our fishing licenses, and some tackle.
I plan on taking plenty of pictures as the place we’re renting is right on the bay, and I’ll have no obligations other than having a good time and relaxing. I take that back, I will need to fillet and cook some nights depending on what we catch!
I’ll be running errands the next few days in the afternoon to make sure we have everything we need. So don’t mind me, I’ll be back next week.
