Warwick escapades
I’ve begun uploading the last segment of photos from our trip. These shots are from Thursday, when we took the train from Marleybone to Warwick. I wish the US had a halfway decent train system instead of the pure rubbish we do have.
Warwick is a pretty town. It has lots of character and history but isn’t too big and crowded. We got there in the morning and took our time walking along the streets a bit. Tried one pub for lunch but they had just lost their chef. We didn’t ask how, it sounded a bit ominous. We made our way further along and found another good pub to have lunch. Then we meandered by an old church and graveyard and finally up to Warwick castle where we spent the bulk of the day.
That evening Steve and Penny were gracious hosts and showed us about town a bit more, then took us out to the best pub I’d eaten in during the entire trip, the Saxon Mill. I definitely intend to visit the place again.

Warwick looks like a nice town. I may have to check it out when we go to Jolly Ole England next year.
