Hey, LJ Users!
I now have openid working on my website. That means if you go to my website, you can comment just by putting your LJ username in.
I’ll be putting in links to the syndicated feed to make this transparent.

Hi!
I saw that you got the Friends RSS feed of Adam’s working. Could you tell me PLEASE how you got your LJ friends “Friends Only” posts to show up for you? I can’t seem to get mine to work for the LIFE of me and I’m really pulling my hair out.
Sorry to be a pest, I just saw that you got it working really well and you even got a LJ openid thing working, where did you find that plugin? I want!! lol
Thanks!

Unfortunately my lj friends list does NOT work with friends only posts. I believe there probably IS a way to make it work, but it’s probably against LJ policy to allow it. All that would need to happen is for the rss reader to pass authentication logging you in–OR lj to finish up their openid support. Currently the LJ openid support is pretty limited. Functional but inconsistent.
For wordpress openid support, this is the best I’ve found so far: http://the-notebook.org/12/01/2006/openid-comments-for-wordpress/
It also functions as an openid server so once it’s installed correctly you can go and login to LJ with it and maintain a friends list with your url!
