Coral Castle
We went to the Coral Castle Saturday morning. If you don’t live in the area or haven’t heard of it, it’s this large structure of monuments and… well… furniture. It’s all made out of coral, all made by one man.
That sounds neat, but then take into account that the one man was 5 foot tall, about 100 pounds, also dying of stomach cancer. Then take into account that coral weighs a ridiculous amount, and peices of this structure weigh from 2-25 tonnes.
Sorcerer? Mad Scientist? Alien? Man from the Future? Reincarnated Egyptian? Who can say! But it was pretty neat. Check out the gallery here.
