End of Rope
Apparently some combination of VS2005 and Source Safe 2005 just lost all of my work from last week. I don’t even understand how that’s possible really, as SS is built to prevent that and keep versions so if you do lose work, it’s not much and you can get back up quickly.
No, it seems all the changes I did over the past week or so got rolled back somehow. I should have suspected something when my version number was wrong, but I thought I had just forgotten to update it. That’s not the case, the version I finished last week seems to have just vanished into the ether replaced by it’s previous incarnation.
Needless to say I’m pretty pissed off right now.
