Shirt

Last night I saw Howl’s Moving Castle. It was fantastic. It may not be the best Miyazaki/Ghibli film yet, but it’s definitely up there in rank. Animation was superb, the disney english dub was well executed with good casting and voice acting, the story was a fantasy filled adventure. I really have no complaints.

I wore my Nine Inch Nails: The Downward Spiral shirt. I wear this shirt probably a couple times a month. I bought it in 1994 or maybe early 1995, I don’t remember which. So yes, this shirt is over a decade old. Just this year is it starting to show it’s age. It’s not faded or torn anywhere, but the silk screening is finally starting to give up. The cool thing though is since the design was originally supposed to look decayed, I’ve probably still got a bit of wear time left before it’s no longer suitable to wear out.

I don’t know if it’s the recent release of With Teeth and subsequent radio play or what, but by the time the evening was through the shirt had been commented on 5 times (3 before even watching the movie.) I find this odd. Maybe Boca is just a haven of NIN fans. Maybe NIN fans are out in swarms on wednesday evenings.

I have an MFT (Metric Fuck-ton) of work to do the next two days here at the office.
