New Layout
Took some time yesterday to freshen my site and LJ. Looks pretty nice I think, except of course in IE, but what’s new? Apparently with the addition of SP2 you can’t include the pngbehavior fix across sites? I guess for once that’s kind of understandable. I’ll probably end up throwing some javascript in my LJ layout so that it works right in IE, but I think I need to come up with a better logo first anyway.
While I was fighting with IE I came across this VERY helpful site listing some of the most common IE rendering bugs, and work arounds for many of them. All you html dabblers bookmark this, it will save you some hair loss. I’ve run across almost every single one of those bugs at one time or another, though this layout only was experiencing the dissapearing list background.
Here’s hoping IE7 will bring some WORKING standards to the browser.
In other news… I have none. Less than 2 weeks till the move. Relisted the piano on ebay at a slightly lower price. Hopefully it will sell and we won’t have to put it on consignment somewhere. Had a good time hanging out with
My Select Start CD won’t play in this PC. This is sad.
