Holy crap, an update!

I think I’ve probably used that title before.

Well I’ve been busy. First with AFO (Anime Festival Orlando) for a full 3 day weekend, then next weekend at YasumiCon down in Miami. Both events went really well. Leah and I got our pictures snapped by Maboroshi of Risingsun.net and “The Prof” from Cosplay Lab. The prof and I talked photography for a good 20 minutes or so as he has the camera I lust over.


For those of my friends who are wondering what the hell is wrong with me, the show the outfits are from is called Azumanga Diaoh. It is a seriously nutty show about highschool girls that’s both cute, hilarious, trippy, and insane at the same time. There are no real male characters other than a scary teacher guy. I couldn’t pull him off so I was “random cafe guy” from a certain episode. Leah is Sakaki, one of the main characters.

AFO went well. Thanks again Matt and Er.. Matt… for the awesome party. Wish I could have stayed longer but I’m a damn old man. I finally got to try real absinth, rock. It was good too.

I am sorry I gave you too much to drink, but I am also glad you got drunk. It was pretty awesome bitching with you and about politics, the state of the world, etc. That and Croatia… angry men… evil men.

I wonder what happened to snoopy? :-/

Yasumi went well. We had so many people stop by the Orange Anime table, got a lot of great video footage. I didn’t make it sunday due to a flat, but I think I probably needed the rest anyway. stayed the weekend with us which was fun, for the little amount we were home. Lots of talk and laughter, and more importantly: Mario Golf.

During the week I’ve been working, and working. That’s about it :) Doing some really cool projects with , who is a great guy and really nice to work with. He also has what looks to be a great up and coming design firm, Fierce Media *plug* *plug*

This weekend I plan on eating sushi, relaxing, catching up on sleep, playing some video games, and just generally being as much of a lazy oaf as I can get away with.

When I started this Weeds was playing, now it’s Milky Way by L’Arc En Ciel. I like this song pretty well. I just felt the need to share that.
