It’s really weird driving an automatic…
when you’ve been driving a manual for something like 4 years.
Oh yeah.. we bought a car!
2004 Ford Focus SE, loaded down with everything but leather. I’ll post some pictures probably later today. First things I notice.. 6 way adjustable seats are nice. So are telescopic steering columns. The stock sound system is surprisingly good, they even have good angling on the speakers for sound staging. Ford’s come a long way, I’d heard that focus’s were a lot more refined inside, and they look it, but now I start to see why.
Yeah… 4900 miles on it, so it’s just broken in already. Awesome considering I get bumper to bumper coverage until late 2006. Sprung for the extended warranty, too full powertrain till 2009 (or 75k miles) so the car will be completely paid for long before the warranty runs out.
